About the company
Thirty years on Indian roads
Established in Pune in 2006 on more than three decades of promoter experience in surface transport — and structured, deliberately, as three specialist divisions rather than one general fleet desk.
Our story
From a regional trucking operation to a pan-India transporter
Sangam Road Carriers was formally established in Pune in 2006, carrying forward more than thirty years of promoter experience in Indian surface transport. What began as a regional trucking operation has grown into a pan-India industrial transporter trusted by cement majors, automotive OEMs, mining and process-equipment manufacturers, and India's new generation of EV companies.
Growth came from one lane at a time. Each new customer was won on a trial consignment and kept by doing the ordinary things reliably — placing the vehicle when we said we would, closing the paperwork before raising the invoice, and telling the customer about a problem before they discovered it themselves.
Today we place over 250 vehicles a month for more than fifty active industrial customers, from a single time-critical pick-up to multi-axle over-dimensional consignments.

How we work
Four things we do differently
Specialist, not generalist
Dedicated Projects, Contract and Container desks, each with their own planners, vehicle pools and documentation standard.
Owned discipline, flexible capacity
Dedicated, attached and market-hire fleet models deployed to match the customer's volume and cost, not our convenience.
Documentation as a deliverable
LR, e-way bill, insurance, and photo and video proof of delivery filed for every consignment — auditable at any time.
People who stay
60+ trained professionals. Long-tenure drivers who know your gate protocol are worth more than any tracking system.
You should never have to chase us. A daily written status goes out on every open consignment, paperwork is closed before invoicing, and every movement runs to a written SOP. If you have to call us for an update, we have failed.
How a consignment runs
Eight stages, every time
A single pick-up and a hundred-tonne project move go through the same SOP. Nothing depends on one person's memory.
Indent received
Cargo, dimensions, route and required date logged against your account.
Feasibility & quote
Vehicle class selected, route survey for ODC, rate confirmed in writing.
Vehicle placement
Vehicle and driver allocated, reported to plant inside the agreed window.
Loading & lashing
Supervised loading, certified lashing, professional packing where required.
Documentation
LR, e-way bill, insurance declaration and gate paperwork issued before departure.
In-transit tracking
GPS monitoring and a daily status email, sent without being asked for.
Delivery & unloading
Crane or forklift arranged, joint measurement, photo and video record captured.
POD & closure
Signed POD uploaded, exceptions reported same day, invoice raised against a closed file.
